The trailer

Believe it or not we searched for a few months for this exact trailer.  At one time I was going to drive six hours and spend $1000 dollars for a similar one.  We found this trailer less than three miles away and for $600.

The wings are what made the Shasta such an iconic trailer.  The wings represented the freedom on the road to be marketed to Americans trying to return back to a more light hearted time following WWII.

Shasta are the ford mustangs of vintage trailers.

Pretty faded and boring paint job.

Surprised how light it pulled for the era it was built in.

Seller also mentioned in his sells pitch that trailer had never left Utah, not sure why that would matter, but the Nevada plates didn't agree.  Note the extension cord running up to the tail light...custom huh?

Pretty lucky, only one damaged window.

Previous owner allowed his dogs to use the trailer to stay out of the winter cold...stinky and dirty.

Cool gas lantern.

Most original hardware still in good shape.

Fine cabinetry.

Seller bragged about how good of shape the interior was in...we were able to just laugh knowing it would all be redone.
